SUMMER SPLASH DOWN
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 11
Summer 2025 is well underway, but it's time to kick this thing off right! Nothing says summer like a night of water rec. activities with friends. All current & rising middle and high school students are invited to come out on Wednesday, June 11 at 6:30PM for a fun-filled night of fellowship. Dinner, snacks, and drinks will be provided.
SEVEN ARROWS: STUDENT BIBLE STUDY
EACH WEDNESDAY NIGHT
All current & rising middle and high school students are invited to take part in a discussion-based Bible study each Wednesday night from June 18 thru July 9. Seven arrows is a tool for inductive Bible study, which is the process of observing, interpreting, and applying scripture. Students who desire to improve in their ability to study the Bible independently or in a small group setting should find it to their benefit to add this tool to the toolbox. The hope is that students would grow in their love and affection for the Word of God as they study it in the context of community. Each meeting will begin at 6:30pm with a cultural meal that represents different countries around the world where Gospel presence is currently limited, followed by a time of prayer for these places
DEEP CREEK DAY TRIP
FRIDAY, JUNE 27
Deep Creek is located in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. It serves as the perfect setting to spend time in community with one another, while enjoying a top-to-bottom run along some of the wildest creek rapids to be conquered on a tube. The tubing experience can best be described as white water tubing, although it is in a safe and controlled environment, since the water only occasionally rises to a depth above waist-level. There are two sections of the creek, with the upper being more challenging and intense and the lower being more relaxing and steady. Regardless of which section you choose to tube on, you should appreciate this tubing experience. There are multiple spots along the creek where a picnic lunch can be enjoyed. Lunch, snacks, and drinks will be provided. Please make sure to bring $25 to cover the cost of tube rental and other incidental expenses that may come up along the way. Seats are available in the church van on a first come-first serve basis, so make sure to reserve your spot!
CHATTANOOGA LOOKOUTS GAME
WEDNESDAY, JULY 30
All current & rising middle school students are invited to join for a VIP experience at a Chattanooga Lookouts night game. Food and beverages will be served in a climate-controlled suite, which will be accessible during the ballgame. Enjoy the game from the suite, or take a seat in a reserved section of the stadium directly in front. First pitch will take place at approximately 7:15PM. Transportation from Meadowview Baptist Church will be available on an as-needed basis, so please indicate if you will need to take advantage of this offering. Some support supervision will be required, so parents, please reach out to Nate if you are interested in attending the ballgame with your student.
